Last Christmas holiday, the Obamas went to Hawaii in order to celebrate and spend their time there. Their vacation lasted for two weeks inside a luxurious home. The estate, known as Hale Reena, is said to be in the multi-million dollar range and is located in Kailua. It boasted a total land area of 7,000 square feet and is actually the Obamas second choice when it comes to holiday rental. The first choice of the first family was said to be The Plantation Estate but it is apparently available during their 2011 and 2012 holidays. The vacation homes that are being used by Obama is coined the term “the other White House”.
Hale Reena is an Asian inspired home and it offers a lot of amenities for the first family such as a swimming pool, spa, steam room and an outdoor lanai complete with comfortable longue chairs. The property can be rented for a price of $3,500 for every night. It is composed of five bedrooms and six bathrooms with a chef’s kitchen. There is also a garden and a koi pond.
The first choice of Obama, The Plantation Estate, is said to have a rental range of $5,000 to $10,000 for every night depending on the time of booking. Obama will be the one to pay for the accommodations that they are going to receive for their two week stay and estimated to be cost around $56,000 in total.
Oahu Luxury Homes also revealed that the Hale Reena boasted an amazing view of the Moluka Islands. According to the latest data reported, this is Obama’s eight Christmas vacation since taking office. Since he was elected in office last January 2009, the total amount of all his vacations can amount to $70.5 million.
On the fourth day of his vacation, President Barrack Obama together with family and friends went for a hike and was spotted. His two-week vacation consists of staying inside the vacation home, golfing, dining and hiking.
