The Obamas And Their Love For Parties With Guest Stars

Anyone who has ever hosted a party will know how challenging it is. In Australia’s bigger cities, hosts will need a party hire in Melbourne to help them organize the event. This is not a problem with the Obamas when they were still in the office. January 6 of this year was the very last party they were able to have in the White House. They invited a lot guest stars for the farewell party such as Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, Meryl Streep, Kelly Rowland, Tom Hanks, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, Usher, Chrissy Teigen among many others.

A few days after the party, Billy Eichner went to Ellen DeGeneres’ show and recounted his experience during the party. He said that the farewell bash was an overwhelming opportunity for him because he was entering the venue with big shot names like David Letterman, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen. He said that he saw the former president having a go at the dance floor while Kendrick Lamar’s music is blasting.

Michelle Obama herself admitted that when it comes to parties, she and the former president go all the way out especially in inviting A-list guests.

During the first inaugural ball of Barack Obama in 2009, they invited Beyonce to sing At Last along with other celebrities such as Jay Z, Alicia Keys, Faith Hill and Shakira. It was noted that it was the same party where security made Leonardo DiCaprio, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher wait before they are admitted into the venue.

In May of 2010, they held a Mexico State Dinner for the former president of Mexico, Felipe Calderon, and his first Lady Margarita Zavala. Gabriela Quintero and Rodrigo Sanches, both Mexican performers, were present along with Beyonce.

For 2013 inaugural ball, they never forgot to invite A-listers such as Kirsten Dunst, Taraji P. Henson, Paula Abdul and Connie Britton. There were performances from artists including Alicia Keys, John Legend, Jennifer Hudson and Katy Perry.

Hosts who wanted to have a party as grand as the Obamas should get a party hire in Melbourne to handle everything they need.
